What is Bloom Girls Build?

A programme built around your ideas.

Bloom Girls Build is an annual innovation and confidence programme open to girls who attend Bloom events. It is the next level for girls ready to do more than attend — they want to create.

Girls identify a real problem in their community or lives, develop a solution, and pitch it to a panel. It is not a competition to be the best — it is a challenge to be brave.

Mixed age groups from 9 to 21 work together across three sessions. Older girls lead. Younger girls are taken seriously. Every voice matters.

The process

How it works

Three steps. Three sessions. One pitch that could change things.

Identify a problem you care about

Every great idea starts with something that bothers you. Maybe it is access to healthcare, safety, mental health support, or cultural representation. If it matters to you, it probably matters to others.

Develop your solution over three sessions

Across three focused sessions you will research, prototype, and refine your idea with your team. You will have guidance, but the thinking is yours. Facilitators help you structure it — they do not do it for you.

Pitch to a panel and compete for prizes

Stand up, speak up, and present your solution to a panel of judges. You will be scored on creativity, impact, and presentation. Every participant gets feedback. Winners take home prizes.
